The Lake Hotel Tagaytay

We had a really lovely stay at Lake Hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with air conditioning, comfortable beds, and a balcony with a nice view. Breakfast was excellent, offering a great mix of delicious Philippine dishes and Western options—something for everyone to enjoy. The staff w hi ere outstanding, always friendly and welcoming. They would greet us with smiles, waves, and cheerful “good morning” or “good evening” whenever we passed by, which made the stay feel very personal and warm. The atmosphere in the hotel was enhanced by the live piano music playing throughout the day, creating a relaxing vibe. The outdoor pool was also nice, with beautiful views overlooking the volcanoes—definitely a highlight. The only small downside was the early 9am wake-up call, which felt unnecessary (perhaps a reminder that breakfast ends at 10am).

The view was absolutely amazing, and the entry/lobby/dining room was like out of an older Hollywood movie with a foreign elegant setting. Having a piano player was a nice touch. I felt like I was royalty staying here. I wish one of the suite rooms was available, but I/we loved our stay. We stayed in a Lake View room. No complaints, but a suite would have been amazing, I'm quite certain.

stunning. every staff member is friendly. you will always feel welcomed. The view is the best, you'll see taal in a perfect way. The food is good, good price and served wonderfully. family friendly environment, good for families with toddlers to pre-school, i mean all age. rooms are big, comfortable and luxurious and the price is cheap. bathrooms are clean even their public ones. check ins are quick. you have everything you need here. near to park, starbucks. not traffic area. spacious parking. really unforgetable stay. we will stay here again.

I loved our stay at the hotel. All staff were very helpful, pleasant & accommodating. I love Contis too and the fact that there is one attached to the hotel is a plus. It is right next to shops and restaurant. I didn't get to go to the new Starbucks, which is just a short walking distance from the hotek, as there's still a bit of a queue. But why bother to go when our room offers the same amazing view? You can also enjoy the view by the poolside, or when you just seat out (you can also do this while having a coffee)at the comfy seats in the quiet lounge area at the lobby, with a soothing piano background.
